Little Thing
There is a little thing
And it is
Some thing
Required thing
And you want this thing
And you can not reach
This thing
It is a little thing
Dreamt of thing
To which you cling
This required thing
You cannot have
This thing is but
A little thing
But it is
Some thing
Required thing
You cannot reach
And it is
Some thing
Required thing
And you want this thing
And you can not reach
This thing
It is a little thing
Dreamt of thing
To which you cling
This required thing
You cannot have
This thing is but
A little thing
But it is
Some thing
Required thing
You cannot reach

Sing For Your Supper
Blood stains
You got some
Blood stains there
Staining up your
Maw and chest
Clean up your act
Lest they think you
Uncivilized
And remove that herring bone
From your hair
It is no longer
In fashion
Smile less ruthless
And more
Rueful
And
Speak nothing of no
Shanghaiing
Nor the Five Points
Nor Bowery Boys or beatings
Either
At very least and
In the end
Clean up them stains there
Upon maw and chest
Lest they oblige you to
Sing for your supper
You got some
Blood stains there
Staining up your
Maw and chest
Clean up your act
Lest they think you
Uncivilized
And remove that herring bone
From your hair
It is no longer
In fashion
Smile less ruthless
And more
Rueful
And
Speak nothing of no
Shanghaiing
Nor the Five Points
Nor Bowery Boys or beatings
Either
At very least and
In the end
Clean up them stains there
Upon maw and chest
Lest they oblige you to
Sing for your supper

And to My Knees
And then you walk
Away and not
Toward
My eyes downcast
And then you stop
As does my heart
And trembling turn
Hesitating
The weight of expectation
Oppressing
Condensing
Time
You bite your lip and
I cannot move
Rooted
Your beauty present
But not your
Intent
Longing
I dare not breathe
And you
Hesitating
And then you walk
Away
And to my knees
I fall
Away and not
Toward
My eyes downcast
And then you stop
As does my heart
And trembling turn
Hesitating
The weight of expectation
Oppressing
Condensing
Time
You bite your lip and
I cannot move
Rooted
Your beauty present
But not your
Intent
Longing
I dare not breathe
And you
Hesitating
And then you walk
Away
And to my knees
I fall

Blood Onrushing
The viaducts are creaking
Tremble with grace
But share out
The opposite of your fear
Mend your ways instead
And commune with your maker
As walls begin to tremble
As tangible fears
Taste like
Salt or copper
In the mouth
A correlation of
Your own
Blood onrushing
A correlation
Notwithstanding
The crying of metal
As it shifts and takes
A final bow
Call out and spread
Methodology and fail to
Undermine
Or hide and whimper and growl
The viaducts are creaking with
Strain and
Soon to be freed
Violence
Like salt or copper
Like Your blood
Onrushing
Tremble with grace
But share out
The opposite of your fear
Mend your ways instead
And commune with your maker
As walls begin to tremble
As tangible fears
Taste like
Salt or copper
In the mouth
A correlation of
Your own
Blood onrushing
A correlation
Notwithstanding
The crying of metal
As it shifts and takes

Or hide and whimper and growl
The viaducts are creaking with

Like Your blood
Onrushing

Tendrils of Hope
You cut an
Uncompromising line
Stand still and hold back
The tears and fears
Which clutch at your
Tendrils of hope
Which clutch at your
Tiny fortitude
Which does
Maintain your line
If barely
Your knees appear to tremble
Your back begins to ache
Stand still as a blade await
But only so long may you maintain
This rigid discipline
Against the fears and tears
Tendrils of hope you clutch at
In vain or in hope
The dust that cakes your weary form
Stirs do the increasing
Beating of your
Heart
Uncompromising line
Stand still and hold back
The tears and fears
Which clutch at your
Tendrils of hope
Which clutch at your
Tiny fortitude
Which does
Maintain your line
If barely
Your knees appear to tremble
Your back begins to ache
Stand still as a blade await
But only so long may you maintain
This rigid discipline
Against the fears and tears
Tendrils of hope you clutch at
In vain or in hope
The dust that cakes your weary form
Stirs do the increasing
Beating of your
Heart
