Chains

I painted my chains
With happy faces and dayglo
People commented
They seemed a little lighter also
But I bet they were not
Much better for your
Mentality
Said the doctors
But they don't have any
To compare
Chains that is
Just clipboards
Boring sterile brown
No decoration
Just clipboards and
Ball point pens
Of a dull grey
Which they mark
On the clipboards with
