When Once We Kissed

There you are
Spying across the way
I see your eyes are black and glitter
I see your finger
Itching on
The trigger
I see your lips about to hiss
I remember vaguely when once
We kissed

Eyes locking
Heart stopping
At this and that lost
Occasion
But the silencer sound
Dims the glitter
And your lips
Twist all bitter
You didn't think
I'd come to our reunion alone my love
As your black eyes fade and your finger
Slackens
Loses its grip
Upon the trigger
I remember vaguely
When once we kissed
