Transactional
Transactional she said
Transactional you are
Or seem to me to be
Always making deals in order to be getting some thing
In return
Your nature she said
Transactional
Why not see other things she said
Don't worry so much about
Endings
Happy or otherwise
See beauty in nature and pause and take it in inside
See the lovely things birthed by decay also
Pause and search through the dust and refuse
The reactions of daily strife
There are lessons there to sift and find
Superficial she said
You can be this too you are this
She said
The surface is not sublime
It is the mind which lasts the long haul can't you see this pal
It is deeper things that last through time
A quagmire too this life we live
Always wanting always yearning you are
Sensating what is all you do
Pulsating your heart quickens
You won't last either
Your heartbeat gonna crash crash crash
You'll soon begin to wither
Without better nourishment son
Than surface dreams and desires
Without better accoutrements
You won't last far or long
You growl and think you are wise and giving
But something always in return you're getting
Change your ways oh brother
She said
Stop being so damn
Transactional
